Cinema became my religion from an early age. Ever since I was a child, I have watched and studied great directors' complex and dramatic works. At the age of 11-15, I went to NY and LA I took temporary courses at UCS summer school and Socapa camp in the subjects of screenwriting, directing and photography. Now, after so many years, my tastes have changed slightly, but I have not changed direction and still passionately want to direct and produce. My favourite directors are such greats as Tarkovsky, Lars Von Trier and Tim Burton, and the genres are film noir, surrealism, post-apocalypse and drama. My dream is to become a director and, through my films to, convey the problem of any kind of discrimination. Because I'm Ukrainian Jewish that was born in Russia, I encountered this problem in a very painful way, and then I decided to fight this problem through my work. Early in my study of cinema, I also became interested in photography because the film is made up of an incredible amount of still images. Now, through my work in photography, I already convey political and social tragedies and the struggle against the problems of discrimination.
